Greetings all. I recently inherited a coin collection from my mother, mostly circulated quality silver coins. She seemed to have a particular fondness for Morgans and Walking Liberties.

Now I too have found myself with a coin collecting bug. Many decades ago, I went to coin shows with my dad when I was a kid. My dad had an impressive collection at one point, but unfortunately he sold off all his coins in the late 1980s to pay off debts and that killed off my youthful interest. After their divorce, my mom had to start a collection from scratch.

I look forward to learning a lot about collecting!

Welcome .
Sounds like collecting brought quite a bit of enjoyment to each of your parents.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

No known cure for this disease but we are working on an earlier diagnosis. Welcome to the hobby and the forums.
