Ok folks, I think I found a good deal..I mentioned in the last thread that I was thinking a buying these sets at $8.95- the 2 p&d buffalos plus the 2 proofs.."Buffalo" and "Ocean in View". I went to completed auctions and saw that the proofs alone were @ the 9-11.00 range.
So I thought and thought and hoping my wife doesn't shoot me..(Especially after the toilet seat).. I broke down and bought 10 sets.
total w/shipping $96.00 (8.95 x 10 + 6.50 s/h)
So I get
10 buffalo proofs
10 ocean in view proofs
20 p& d buffalos

= 40 coins divided by 96.00 = 2.40 per coin.
keeping 2 sets and trying to sell the rest, should make my money back. (until then The couch should be comfy)

For anyone else looking for this..he has 142 sets and sold approx 50 today.. here is the link

Rest in Peace

I have seen this auction on ebay and I think grovey is absolutely safe in this deal! Airtites can be purchased just about anywhere for .95 or less. We have purchased in bulk (considerably cheaper), from local dealers and online! Probably can find those on ebay as well even though I have never looked there! I would highly recommend airtites for those proof coins if you intend to keep them long.
Rest in Peace

I would be interested in what they look like. If you win let me know what your impression is.
