Pulled from a 2 x 2 flip marked "BU". Does it reach the "MS" level ? Thanks.

Too much flashback on the obverse pic to see surface details clearly.

Back to the coin photo-taking drawing board. . .thanks for checking, Coinfrog.

ETA: Took these outside using a white opaque cylinder as a diffuser. . .

Maybe MS-64? It's a really nice looking Buffalo nickel.

these are pretty common in higher MS grades. this one is pretty nice with only a few small marks on the shoulder. MS66+

lighting still not the best as it looks like there are some hits on the jaw but its hard to tell. that would probably keep it out of the 67 box. so your first photos have too much glare and your new ones have too much shadowing going on

I'm at MS-66. Beauty, but pretty common in this grade as noted.

panzaldi: Thank you for the lighting comments; between the feedback I've received on some of the coin photos I've posted and the tips found in the Coin Photography threads, I'll solve this problem yet !

Enjoy the rest of the day.

to get photos with less glare do not use any overhead or flash light. its a challenge finding an area that will not have reflective light. sometimes a cloudy day or subdued lighting is better. I've found on my iphone there is an option for portrait and I select natural light placing the coin on an interior table without any other lighting works most of the time.
