I have fallen into count collecting by accident through collecting bullion, which lead to silver coins, which lead to . down the rabbit hole. I'm just starting to learn what to look for when it comes to errors.
I purchased some rolls of steel cents just for fun. I have found several of the ghost or missing 4 pennies, which I understand are quite common and not worth anything. However, I did find one that I haven't been able to find any information on. I'm guessing it is a strike through like the missing 4s, but I'm not sure. On mine, the last three letters of Liberty are missing. Does anyone have knowledge of this happening before? Do you think it's an error or strike through? Is it worth doing something with it or is it just a novelty piece?
