CreativeName Valued Member United States 65 Posts	Posted 08/29/2023 6:06 pm Based on what appears to me to be a flat spot on the eagle's breast and top of shield opposite the ear, I would guess that the coin had something heavy on it that caused both sides to flatten. Both sides could have been Struck Through Grease of course, but based on the pictures I'm thinking damage. I have certain coins that I haven't posted pictures of yet because it is so hard to capture the actual sense of the error/uniqueness of it. It can be frustrating trying to take good pictures. None of the surfaces on either side of the coin are flat and there's no damage at all. It's almost like it's missing shading or something. The ear portion looks the same as my other coins just no detail there..It weighs 11.26 Report this Post to the Staff
