Hi all, anyone knows if the missing portion on the boy's head is damage or a minting error?

Any chance that you could post a close-up? It could be a lamination, but it's hard to say with that pic.

Numister, it's difficult to tell if those are gouges ( PMD) or a lamination. But even if its a lamination it does not add much of a numismatic premium.
