Found this penny with unusual coloring. Has it been altered?

If this is the copper coloring. Would the coin be worth anything?

Copper can take on all kinds of colors. Hard to tell how it came to look like this, but I doubt it has any value.

Just toning from environmental factors, plus circulation. No extra value for the toning. Still keep it though, since it's a Wheat cent.

I see an XF range toned cent - worth a few cents since it's a Wheatie but the toning does not add any value.
