here's another coin. a little more certain this is an actual DDR.
there seems to be a second thumb, but I can't find a ref anywhere. there are a lot of 'close' images, but the second thumb is way more to the left than anything I've seen.

Definitely DDR-052: http://www.varietyvista.com/01d%20L...2%20cent.htm

Even looks to have the minor DDO as well.

Not sure where everyone else is looking.

Guys... please examine the coin carefully before giving a "no." I hate to be mean, but this is a pretty obvious one if you know where to look for doubling on this date, and it's good that Tanmam caught this before OP could have possibly thrown a good doubled die back into circulation, as some posters here have done when poorly advised about doubled dies in the past.

Agree with Tanman2001. You've got a nice 2009 FY DDR.

thanks all for the feedback. any advice on a decent microscope/camera setup? I really want to take better pics and I hate posting the crap ones I can manage to take. :( the mic I have is really hard to focus (you'll get it in focus with the roller, that's way too hard to turn, and then you had to put so much pressure on it, when you let it go, it;s no longer in focus...) and I really can't get the resolution I want. (it's a celestron 5 MP digital microscope pro 20x-200x magnification.) not sure if I'm just not using it correctly, or it's crap...
