KM 37, 32.5mm dia, best guess thickness 1.7mm, weight 13.4 gr, coin alignment, but off by maybe 25 degrees Bought this coin on ebay. Upon closer inspection, I don't like the thick middle of the '8' in date. Also, some unidentified lines below bust and to left of the date that shouldn't be there. Strange discoloration along rim below left wing. United States of America seems to have inconsistent font style and letting shapes. Also not sure about inconsistently in rim style and size. Fake or real? At the time I was excited to get it, and thought it real. Now I'm not so sure.

Edge letteriing starts at 3:00 Fifty Cents or Half Dollar, with obverse facing away from me. O in 'or' is larger than rest (the 'r' is smaller). Tops to 'f' in fifty, 'e' in cents, 'f' in half and 'a' in dollar run off obverse side of rim. With no rim wear, I wonder is that is odd or not. I was unable to take any picture that would prove usable for you to look at.

Here's the best of several attempts to photo edge. Sigh. Obviously, Ansel Adams I am not.

You might want to filter your light so there is less glare. John1
