All right, so these coins have feathered wings, but they aren't bird feathers...

@barryg: Congrats on #5,000! A great accomplishment!

Way to find a loophole for the Mexican coins - nice!

2007 Jamestown 400th Anniversary

The Silver Dollar and Gold Half Eagle of the 2007 Jamestown 400th Anniversary commemorative coin program each depict a Native American with one or more feathers worn as a headdress.

My photo does not show the feather clearly, but it is worn by the Wampanoag man on the reverse.

1936 Providence, Rhode Island Tercentenary

The feathers on the "Rhode Island" Half Dollar can easily be missed due to the artistic style used for its obverse design. The scene depicted is that of Roger Williams approaching a river bank with a friendly, local Native American greeting him. The Native American is wearing a small, feather headdress, but its details are not present due to the highly-stylized design.

1963 Dominican Republic Peso

The coin features the Dominican Republic Coat of Arms on its obverse and a profile portrait of a female Taino figure symbolic of "Liberty" on its reverse; she wears a feathered headdress with "LIBERTAD" on its band. . The Taino were the native inhabitants of the island Columbus named Hispaniola ("Little Spain") when he landed there in December 1492. He claimed the island in the name of Spain.

Also have the 1880-1909 complete set but I don't see a point in posting every one.

@mike31093: Thanks for jumping in!

I think you'll find the Somaliland coin has palm fronds vs. feathers.
