Pinkchrome,
to CCF.
Very nice find. Put them in 2x2's and don't forget to flatten the staples. Your pics are nice, what are you using?

(TB) Note the position of the mint mark in relation to the tail of the 5. It is RPM-001.

Great pickup!
And 7 if them... awesome... Congrats Pinkchrome!

Very cool. You know there is another RPM that year that is much harder to spot.

to the CCF Very nice RPM. I like the ones that my old eyes can see without much magnification.

This is why I like to search BU rolls. When you find a variety, you often find several copies in the roll.

Excellent. Congratulations.
Was that the only variety number found in that roll?

Thanks for reminding me about that one. (RPM-028 is a nice one that is well-separated from the main MM along Lincoln's bust.)

And you may even find a few different varieties.

When searching mixed date rolls, it hadn't crossed my mind that multiple BU varieties found in the same roll might be sequentially numbered.

The original submitters may have found similar rolls and sent them together for attribution.(Check out who the variety was "Reported By:" to see if they may have been sent in at the same time.)

This information could really helpful when trying to find variety numbers for the same year found in BU rolls. (1960D comes to mind with over 130 varieties)

Using 1953D RPM's as an example, 014, 015, & 016 were found and "Reported By" by Harry Ellis. I would suspect they may be found together in BU rolls.
In this case, if you found an RPM-014 in a BU roll, 015 or 016 might be in there as well.

Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
