I have a lot of Canadian silver dimes that I am hoping to get opinions on. I seem to have a lot of trouble grading coins form 1937-1967. My eyes just aren't picking out the wear area properly. I also am usually very hesitant to grade above AU55 for fear of my inexpertise in grading higher grade coins. I will start a new topic thread of each dime and number each post to help stop confusion.

any help or opinions would be appreciated.

Also, is it just me or were the sailboats on the dimes always struck weakly?

I'm going to be watching these postings of yours because I'm still learning to grade high grade coins too. I would think this is MS ? but I'm like you ... I hate to go above AU with my coins in case I'm wrong.

I'm going to agree AU-55, too many scratches to go MS.
