Obviously the recent editions of the Cherrypicker's Guide included many new listings. Does anyone have a list of the new numbers added for modern circulating coins?

For currently-in-circulation issues the new ones are:

1971-D 10¢ FS-501 RPM
2015-P 10¢ FS-801 DDR
1983-P 25¢ FS-901 Die Clash "Spitting Eagle"
1989-P 25¢ FS-501 No P Grease Strike?
1994-P 25¢ FS-501 No P Grease Strike?

Not many new ones for CRHers, and I'm certainly not a big fan of those quarter additions.

Also of note, there were more listings removed for circulation issues than there were added. The listing #s are in the tables at the end of the book and are still considered by the CPG to be listed varieties, they're just not pictured anymore.

Thanks!

I guess I should ask, what were the new ones in 6.1 as well? I have 5.1 digital. I noticed because PCGS seems to have started accrediting cherries that aren't in my edition (or maybe were older ones that were dropped?).

If they only added five new entries for 6.2 circulating coins, I'm a little shocked that Whitman decided an entire new edition was justified.

There's a lot marked as new listings in 6.1:

1960-D 1¢ FS-502 RPM

1983-D 1¢ FS-101 DDO
1987-D 1¢ FS-501 RPM

1988, 1988-D, 1998, 1999, 2000 1¢ FS-901 Wide AM
1996 1¢ FS-101 DDO
2004 1¢ FS-801 DDR
2006 1¢ FS-101 DDO (They inadvertently picture two different DDOs, not sure which is FS-101 or if the second one will be FS-102)
2009 1¢ FY FS-801 through 808 DDRs
2014 1¢ FS-101 DDO
1938 5¢ FS-106 DDO

Most of the new listings were on older silver coins.

Ok, thanks so much! That's why I can't find a lot of the PCGS accredited listings in my edition.

I have nothing against older silver coinage, of course. But with so few Fivaz-Stanton listings on modern circulating coins, I feel like that doesn't bode well for future coin roll hunting. Not unless the mint starts making some major errors and varieties on the smallest denominations.
