I found numerous quantities of certain errors in my 1000 'D' mint nickel bag. Does anyone have any information to share on these:

1. POINTED MOUND: The mound has a distinct point at bottom right. The mound separates at the bottom then has a raised peice of metal at the tip.

2. PARTIALLY FILLED '0' IN '2005': The top of the '0' has a very uniform filled area in each coin - as if you drew a line inside the '0' at the top. It is raised, not recessed. the line (?cud) meets the inside top of the '0'.

Thank you

This coin is still "new" and not alot are known about it, some people in this forum have reported not even seeing one in their change yet. I am not sure what different kinds of errors or anything have been reportedly found on this type yet but maybe someone in here has read something in one of the weekley magazines or something that I am sure some of them get.

Here is your "Pointed Mound"

I found one in some circulation buffs I had saved.

Normal on left, pointed mound on right. Looks like a die chipped to me...
