Hi, was this gold coin minted by Albert and Isabella or Ferdinand and Isabella? The inscription has Ferdinand's name on it, but the medal's design suggests that it was made during Albert's time (1598-1621).

I believe your coin is from Spain.

That seems interesting that the Catholic K/Q returned to coinage ~100 years after their reign.

Neither.
It was minted by the city of Kampen, which was an imperial city within the Dutch Republic.
