2020-D Jefferson Nickel Doubled Die Chips

Brandmeister Pillar of the Community United States 6492 Posts	Posted 11/24/2023 1:51 pm I haven't seen much Machine Doubling on ultra-modern nickels. Maybe snap a zoomed pic of United to check. I think it's not uncommon for hornets nests to keep flaking off additional rings as they expand. It's a nice double hornets nest. That die is probably creeping closer to a complete failure.
