I have a 1972 $5 dollar note with the serial number CN1961961 in uncieculated condition.
What would be the value?

They are hard to sell unless a special #, maybe 15 to 20 bucks

Your 1972 $5.00 has a repeater serial # since the 3 digits "196" repeats (not rotator). The premiums on special serial # are directly related to the note's condition. As Coinfrog & john100 alluded to, we would need to see pictures of the notes before we could try to estimate its value.
