New Here! From The Heck Hole Known As The Bay Area

I collect mainly US coin, a couple old Mexican centavos, my oldest coin is a half a reales 1776 Spanish coin. But I'm much more proficient with American coin and paper money. My dad is a big Numismatic. He's been collecting since he was little. So I was introduced to this at a very young age. To me there is nothing better that old paper, coin, and stamps made in the good old' US of A. I would say pretty much the decline of US excellence came when Nixon took us off the gold standard our production of beautifully made products in my opinion was placed on the back burner. But ya glad to be here. I have a few questions on coins hope they can get answered. Thanks
