A similar coin has come up a while back about those denticles on the rim The conclusion was it's not from a foreign planchet Canadian planchet have denticles. the fact was proven that the coin was an Encased Coin and the pressure of encasing the coin gave those denticles . You could see by the rim it was encased>

I agree, denticles are a part of the coin die itself, so having denticles on a Lincoln Cent is impossible, ergo, it's after Mint damage. ~ Jim
