Jim Archibald Valued Member United States 198 Posts	Posted 04/07/2009 5:53 pm I'd recommend trying something I've used for years and can't live without now. It's called a 30X light scope which is a small(pocket sized) microscope with a built in flashlight. Great for coin shows and for variety hunting. It's monocular, so it does have some minor limitations, however the "under $20.00" price tag more than makes this a useful worthwhile tool. ~ Jim Report this Post to the Staff

John1 Moderator United States 56855 Posts	Posted 04/07/2009 8:40 pm I used a 10x loupe for about 20 years,then I started using a 14x loupe and it works great.I paid under $10 for it.I am a Lincoln Cent roll hound and I find a lot of varieties and even a few errors using it.Hope this helps some.
