I'd recommend trying something I've used for years and can't live without now. It's called a 30X light scope which is a small(pocket sized) microscope with a built in flashlight. Great for coin shows and for variety hunting. It's monocular, so it does have some minor limitations, however the "under $20.00" price tag more than makes this a useful worthwhile tool. ~ Jim
I used a 10x loupe for about 20 years, then I started using a 14x loupe and it works great.I paid under $10 for it.I am a Lincoln Cent roll hound and I find a lot of varieties and even a few errors using it.Hope this helps some. John1
I was just handed a box of cents as part(small part) payment for a job I had just finished. I was thinking what a better time to start. It seems to be very time consuming. Are there stages to this type of collecting?
