Hi all,

I've never found a clipped coin before and there is other PMD on this coin to make me doubt it... Thoughts?

Meandice, to my admittedly untrained eye it appears to be the work of a grinder. Everything I've learned about identifying true clipped planchets was in this thread by experts (with great photos and explanations): 1950 D Lincoln Wheat cent Mint Error - Clipped Planchet (How To ID Clips)
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
