Is This Multiple Die Chips On The Lettering? 1999 D Circulated Georgia State Quarter

secondary80 New Member United States 6 Posts	Posted 12/17/2023 01:15 am does anyone have some knowledge on if something like this could be caused by PMD? this seems like the lettering has multiple errors, although the coin is not in that good of shape. can't tell! thanks in advance if anyone has any info! I have read: Die chips happen to the die, so to be precise, they should be called a variety. Some, however do call them errors.
