does anyone have some knowledge on if something like this could be caused by PMD? this seems like the lettering has multiple errors, although the coin is not in that good of shape. can't tell!

thanks in advance if anyone has any info!

Is it raised? If it is, it could be a Die Chip. If incuse, then it's probably damage.

it does look like it's raised, that's part of the reason I'm suspecting this to be an error, I just wish it was in better shape in other areas!

secondary80,

This question is for the pros: is a die chip considered an error?

I have read: Die chips happen to the die, so to be precise, they should be called a variety.
Some, however do call them errors. (I am far from being a pro)
