Hi All, The below contest has been cancelled. Either I have made it to hard or their was a lack of interest in a non-coin contest? It is my turn to give a little back to the members of this great forum, I now call my second home. Thankyou for accepting me. I do not have a large expensive collection so my prize is nothing fancy but they are still interesting nonetheless. Here is the prize, 1 1861 1 Heller from Austria 1 1946 25c from Belgium (WW2 Era) 1 1952 East German 1 pf 1 1924 German 5 pf 1 1905 2 Heller from Austria Even though the prize is coin related the contest isn't. Still a fairly easy contest. Here it is. Have a look at the below pictures. Be the first to tell we the suburb and country where these pictures were taken in and you win. The only rules I can think off, is that you can only have 1 go at it. Email me your answers. The first one to name them all correctly with suburb and country.....WINS. I will post the answers once someone has won. If I have missed anything please let me know and I will add it. Dewayne, thankyou for your comment. I must say I really enjoyed visiting these places. I would love to visit them again one day.
Why not have a guess, good way to get some free coins.

I could guess a continent, LOL.
Hey Lars, how about telling us a bit about your holiday last year, where you went and the great arcitechture you saw. LOL.
These have to be someones home country, but it doesn't look like my suburb.

Are they too hard? Should I give a small clue?
I thought some of the monuments were giveaways. Especially three of them?

I forgot to mention all four places are in different suburbs. Two of them in same country.
Unfortunatly Berlin is not one of them. Since I forgot to mention this, Rick please feel free to have another go.

Hi Everyone,
I have re-read my first post and noticed my wording was wrong. Instead of editing it here is the fix up.
Old wording: Have a look at the below pictures. Be the first to tell we the suburb and country where these pictures were taken in and you win.
New Wording: Have a look at the below pictures. Be the first to tell we the different suburbs and country's were these pictures were taken and you win.

Sorry that you cancelled the contest Lars,
My guess is that it was a little hard for people living outside Europe. Especially considering Europe has many many landmarks. We try to get ourselves in Europe but even I recognised only two of the places.

Can I still guess eventhough the contest is canceled? Just for the fun of it. Is #1 and #4 Germany?

#1 is St Vitus Cathedral, Prague, Czech Republic. I found it by searching through the "Cathedrals" pictured on Wikipedia . It was the only one I could definitely find. My brother said he'd seen the church on #2 on a stamp, and the language on the nearby sign seems to be German. That seems to be a Belgian flag on the front of the building in picture #4. #3 I had absolutely no idea; it looks like a ruined church or monastery, so my guess was going to be in Britain somewhere.
