Just snagged this nicely circulated 1925 key date (but not yet gonna say how much I paid - would like to let everyone guess in GTP coming up later this year ) That officially wraps up all of the Canadian nickels for a complete set except for varieties that are still findable... Would like opinions on grading though; I have an idea on this grade, but will hold off till later once I get responses in.

Can't really see any of the jewels in the band, so VG-10.

The band of the crown is completely worn through, although just barely, thus putting it into the VG range. I agree with VG10 .
CCN trends for VG8 is $80 Canadian and F12 is $100.

I think that the Reverse is at least F-12, maybe a tad bit more, but the Obverse well worn to VG.

I'll agree VG10 but it's nice that it doesn't have meter marks. I've also got to ask what does "GTP" stand for? There are not many days left in the year.

My initial tentative grade would be an easy F-12 with a clear shot at 15 (possible glare from lighting might throw off the proper assessment) GTP = Guess The Price, hosted by jbuck, coming up early next year In the last 10 years or so, I have only seen at most four 1925 Canadian nickels, this last one was for me

I'll say F-12 with a good chance at 15.
