Hi all... I'm just a small town boy living in northwestern Louisiana. I just started learning about coins. I have had one forth of my grandfathers collection in my possession since 2009, but I never really gave them a second thought.
A few weeks ago I did something rather foolish and lost about $300 bucks at a local casino, so I went looking for a way to replenish my emergency money. I have always kept a small basket on the kitchen counter that I throw all of my pocket change in. I was going through it to see how much money was there when I came across a few old wheat pennies so I decided to look through all of the coins to see if I might get lucky and find a rare or valuable one or two. I'll probably be on here a lot bugging the heck out of you guys, but know it is only out of my insatiable curiosity about anything I don't know much about.

Funny you should say that because I worked in the car business for over 20 years. I only encountered someone with one of those "extended warranties" once and it was an absolute nightmare. The customer was mad at me for doing what the warranty company required and I could not release the car until the bill was paid in full...
