Davis.....I edited my mistake and then removed a part of my brain with a pair of needle-nose plyiers and a prybar. It was the part that can't seem to look at a calendar correctly !...  ....

Are you planning on making some money on these flippin' them on ebay ? Let's see.......if you could have a profit of $70.00 per two roll Set......that would be $2,030.00 total profit (because you have to save one two roll Set for yourself !) I figure this profit will pay for a four night/five day cruise in Alaska for you and the wife !

BadThad, I am very happy you received those coins, I hope you do not plan to open these rolls, and do not open the remainder of the "original U S Mint boxes", not that you might be planning to sell them, but on ebay this 2-roll set is approaching $100.00......  Edited by Morgans Dad

I'm not planning on opening the other boxes, but I HAD to open one so I could feel and touch the rolls, just had to do that. LOL I also wanted to put those two rolls directly into tubes for 100% positive safe long-term storage.

Anyone wonder what took them so long to Ship. Thads were packaged and ready to go before they were even on sale. My measley set was packaged on 3-3-2009. Wonder why they did this? Drive the market?

When I get my three Sets next week, I'm planning on opening "the box" as BadThad did because I'm going to sleep with them under my pillow for at least a month !.... This "waiting period" has been a trial ! And, I too will be putting the unopened rolls into coin tubes for protection & prosperity ! I even want to protect the U.S. Mint paper even !, so that 100 YEARS FROM NOW WHEN THE TWO HUNDRED YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE Lincoln Cent COMES, MY GREAT-GRAND KIDS WILL HAVE AND ENJOY THESE ALL THE MORE ! Well I ordered on the first day and just got mine delivered to me by the USPS. They were left in the mailbox and I work from home. So they make no attempt to deliver them to someone at home. I'm just glad I got them before someone beat me to them.
