The latter reverse one of the most contrived designs in the history of British coinage.

Hi, @Dearborn.
I fished one pair out of my LCS bin today: Ireland 10 pence.
... and these singles, so maybe someone else on CCF will find their mate and complete the pair: Spain 5 pesetas 1994 Sweden 1 krone 1969 Switzerland 5 rappen 1969 (this one looks ike it sat in a drawer most of the last 50 years).
I will send them off in the next few days.

Very interesting idea, I'd never thought about such a memorial. My wife died recently and I sent a bunch of her old USN photos to her P-3 Orion squadron website.

Thanks sks! My brother flew on the P-3's as well.. Don't remember his Squadron VP number anymore though - Might have to go back and research that part. Here is the memorial web site-- https://www.findagrave.com/memorial...ward-s-hollyand this picture I take every year on Memorials day when I go up to visit him. The large folded flag was his burial flag I made a small stand to place it on so it won't be on the ground. The 3 stones I place there are from me and my 2 sisters. The little flag on a stick was placed there by the Veterans Cemetery folks.

My wife was in VP-19 Big Red https://vpnavy.com/vp19_1980.html Interestingly, my daughter, who just left USN after 12 years, also started with P3 in VP-40 on Whidbey Island and witnessed P3 decommissioning. Find out in which squadron your brother served, maybe they were together.
