I see what you mean. Looks like pitting, especially the reverse. I'm curious what would remove corrosion so thoroughly. I thought that corrosion can't be removed. Also, the coin has nice luster, which is puzzling if it's been cleaned.

In any case, I think I managed to get some clearer images...

Any corrosion on a coin can be dealt with. It's simply a matter of whether or not you end-up damaging the surfaces in the end. In the case of this coin, it clearly had severe verdigris and someone probably used acid to clean it.

Luster? It looks lusterless to me, it's very flat. If anything, it'd be a flashy luster (indicative of cleaning) but definitely no cartwheels here.
