On my last proof sets I have'it to look, to day I finaly find this very rare FS-901. VV estimated somewhere in 1996 as 1% (perhaps). After all years past, in 2016 Herb told me that just .0.25% was believe to be.

This coin it is one which I want to finish the book and also the collection.

I put only two photos: The main marker: the N in EPU, the only one in this year without sherrif, and a full of the Reverse. All pics was took over original package.

Enjoy and hope you find one of the 5000 coins struck, which not manny left in the wild.

That's one proud set of Quarters I imagine, from what I've seen! Nice Silvio
I will someday soon begin searching my Quarter Collection that was my Dad's.

Congrats Silvoio.
I know nothing of these varieties but I do know you know you stuff.

What is it about the N of EPU that makes a marker.

I found the link but still can't tell what is unique about the N of EPU.

That year has 4 varieties as RDV-005, 006, 007 and 008.
The RDV-008 it is a normal proof strike where the leaf in front of the arrows tips is higher.
The N in EPU it is the marker: The 005 is strait and no sheriff. The 006 and 007 the N present sheriff (2 kinds)

The 006 has sheriff in N but very light. The 007 sheriff come from an courved and very accentuate. 007 born from 006 Hub and are very close one to other as are the 004 and 005.

The production was as: 0.25 % 005, aprox (less) 3% 006, 75% 007 and 20+% 008. Hope help. Total production was 3 mill coins and only 2.5 mill was sold (this was in one book, but I can not confirm).
