I know that there's not any 1973s rpm except for proofs but ? I found two of them from the same die with the same small die crack on the hair and what it looks like a split serif or tilted ? ,on the top , maybe be not big to be call an rpm ? . I took pictures from different angles trying to show what I see

It looked like an RPM to me in your great images.

Mintmark position is different than all the reference proof RPMs, so those dies weren't used.

Also, there's a 71-S RPM on ebay that looked pretty bonafide also, but the mintmark position looked to me to be lower than yours. Wonder if this is the tip of the iceberg.

EV, that's what I think , and maybe not big enough to be listed . Too bad CopperCoins doesn't take do anymore attributtions other wise he (Chuck) would have it listed
