I've recently stumbled on a 1939 Royal Visit Medal I've never seen before. I've searched and searched and couldn't find any information about it or any other examples. I've contacted multiple reputable dealers and they also had no info about it. So
here I am asking for help!

Heres what I know
Diameter - 51mm
Weight - 64.7g
Composition - Copper, Silver Plated
Allegedly it was minted in England, but I have zero proof of that.
It has an extremely detailed, high relief, portrait of the Parliament on the reverse.
The obverse is similar to a regular 1939 Medal but obviously theres its defences.

If any of you have any info it would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you

Not an official issue, obverse is not Metcalfe nor Shingles or MacKennal.
I'm thinking the obverse more closely resembles obverses used on 1937 Coronation medals, perhaps you can find something there.

Oh wow! Same obverse! I have seen the 1937 before, I completely forgot about it. The obverse is a perfect match, I had a feeling I had seen that obverse before. Thats a great lead to whom might of minted it.

Big thank you!
