Folks, It's been a very long time since my last post. I was going through some old canadian 1 cents (for errors etc) and found this 1936 with a dot. I know the chances are very slim wanting your suggestions on if it could be real, or a stategically placed dirt spot.

Any answers would help.

Just like the scores of people who have posted on here about a '36 dot, it's NOT one. All things posted on 5 different coin forums for the last 20 years say the same thing, They've been faked, altered, added, and repositioned. Keep it as an oddity, but it's worth anything more than 1 cent at the bank and about 50% of what Trends says it is as a normal 1936.
