Not sure. Those elongated letters look legit to me, and the date maybe looked a bit thin. I was referencing the following. Can you please post a full image of the obverse and reverse to show the die markers? Are the die scratches in the eye present on yours? http://varietyvista.com/09d%20WQ%20...6PDDO001.htm

No point in matching markers until you match the doubled die. I do not think it is 001,look close at the U. John1

I looked briefly at the DDO-001 online and have to agree, it does not match the poster's coin for a doubled die.

Well, the tops of the letter show a n/s expansion, but no split serifs, so I'm not too sure on this one (yet)

to the CCF There is only 1 DDO for 66 and it's a big one. Both spread and worth. http://www.coppercoins.com/advsearch.php As stated above, markers don't mean a thing if you don't have the DD first. I think your scope is deforming the image of the coin.

I agree with the above comments. Additionally, 1966 DDO-001 is a business strike, not a SMS strike. It will not be found in those sets.

Definitely not seeing any cw thickness on IN GOD WE TRUST nor the listed thickness on the date. I'm going to have to say no on DDO-001.
