The $ is still on the number 4 key and it also has the € symbol.
What I struggled with at first when I came over from the States to the UK was:
@ is not on shift 2 - on the UK keyboard that is " - basically they swapped these two around
# is not on shift 3 - on the UK keyboard that is £ - the UK keyboard has another key with # and ~ on it.
So I had lots of fun trying to type email addresses at first and avoided passwords with the # in them.
I hope the UK does not get rid of the £ in favor of the €
