I got this coin that has a strong shine so I inspected it.
I noticed THE D MINTMARK HAD REMAINS of A S mint MARK.
I LOOKED at a 1982 S penny and turns out that they are made of copper WITH a LARGE DATE.
Basically other than mint mark the only difference is that the san FRANCISCO mint WAS only produced in cameo proof.I think this coin is a rejected san FRANCISCO penny that was sent TO DENVER. ITS THE ONLY WAY THIS WOULD EXIST OTHER THAN THEY STILL HAVE BOTH MINT MARK AT THAT TIME.

YOUR OPINION,
POSSIBLE?

OMMs stopped in 1955 so it cannot be that.
It is a large date.
The mint mark might be MD or a damaged mint mark punch.
Please work on your photos, the better the photos you post the better we can help you.
