Some may be turned off by the facial dings, but it fits with my lower end collection. It is a little bit darker than pictured. Thoughts?

For the variety, I like it! These come flat and ugly, so your example has good eye appeal for the grade. If it were in my collection, I would net VF-20. If those dings were not there, I would say VF-25. That ebay seller has had some nicer raw halves. Beware on the attributions, the 1814 listed today is not a 106.

Jacrispies, I reviewed your post from 2022 on Bust Half attribution some time ago, good stuff! I no longer buy anything without attributing it first, including this coin. I had the seller send pics out of the wrap as the listing pictures were pretty bad. I have come across a good number of coins over the last few months not attributed correctly from a number of sellers. Some of it unintended probably, but others seem to be looking for a premium price.

The reverse looks great. The obverse has a few marks but not too distracting. A coin without hits is like a boxer that's never been punched. Nice VF.
