*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. It's very important to have in the title. ***

Need help with this 1970 D Dime. Not sure if this is pre or post production. Parallel line do not appear to be raised. Yet it does look unusual. I am new to coin collecting and any comment will be greatly appreciated. I am also new to learning how to post and load images. I do have more images if that will be helpful. Thank you.

To CCF! Full obverse and reverse images would help.

New to forum. As requested I am included the full obverse of the coin. I appreciate the guidance of the forum monitor in helping me navigate through this forum as efficiently as possible.

Try putting a piece of regular copier paper between your light source and the coin as a light filter. If there are cracks or other interesting factors it will help knock the glare off of the surface and may be easier to see in pics.

The area in question looks indented. Maybe a struck through debris?
Some type of lamination?
Maybe just PMD?
