Here's a trio of classic-era US commemorative half dollars: 1925 California Statehood Diamond Jubilee, 1925 Fort Vancouver Centennial and 1927 Battle of Bennington / Vermont Independence Sesquicentennial.

The three were authorized/siged into law via one bill on February 24, 1925. Calvin Coolidge was the US President who signed the bill into law; he was the 30th US President.

I thought I'd do something like NumisRob showing changes in composition of one denomination over the years...

A trio of 5 franc coins from Belgium. The first is from 1873 with the portrait of Leopold II, and is 25g of .900 silver. The 2nd is from 1931 with a portrait of Albert I, and is 14g of nickel. The 3rd is a wartime issue from 1941 with a portrait of Leopold III, and is zinc with a weight of 6g.

Continuing with another trio of 5 franc Belgian coins...

The first is from 1975 featuring a depiction of the goddess Ceres and is copper-nickel with weight 6g. The 2nd is from 1986 with a stylized portrait of Baudouin I and composed of a copper (92%)-aluminum (6%)-nickel (2%) alloy of weight 5.5g. The last is from 1998 with a portrait of Albert II. Numista lists the composition as aluminum bronze of weight 5.5g, but I think it may actually be the same composition as the previous example (I couldn't find a reference describing the exact composition of the aluminum bronze alloy used on this one).
