I started putting cents and nickels in Whitman folders since at least 1962. Some got different colours on each side (more in other posts). A handful seem to have acquired a red hue to the obverses. This one has some normal reverse toning and a lighter obverse with a red tinge.
The reverse has a die clash under the left leaf, from the inner part of the king's ear. There is also a heavy clash line next to the stem to the bud, from the groove in the king's outer ear. (same clash as a 1943 I posted) - http://goccf.com/t/458467
The right leaf has two chunks of metal in the lobes (similar to the 1943).
The obverse, surprisingly, has no die damage (no gross bug in the ear).
