Hi everyone. Newguy frankiefinds here.
I received a call from a friend who found this dime. He thinks it may be an error coin.
Possible mint error? I have a feeling it's post mint damage but need some more seasoned thoughts.

(Pic is not great but you can see the directional damage.
It's only on the reverse. Obverse is as it should be)

Damaged coin.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
