I found this coin in a roll of quarters. It is circulated. Not sure if it is PMD, Missing Clad, the weight is fine, struck thru grease or worn our die.

I have not been into coins long enough to know how to determine the difference. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks all that ping in and teach this old person something new. LOL

*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. It's very important to have in the title. ***

PMD. Possibly a Dryer Coin.

PMD. I added the date to your title but not sure of the mint mark.

Well, if the weight is ok, then it is not missing any clad layers. It is just a very toned or stained quarter - possibly spent time in some dirt for a while.

That's the first test. If it passes that one no other tests needed.
