Hello all,

I'm trying to develop some grading skills and I am curious what grade you would give to this 100 yen coin I recently pulled out of circulation (it's from 2023 - R5).

For reference, I found some graded examples (trying to build a photograde reference -- if you found more examples of lower grades please share!):
MS61 - https://www.pcgs.com/cert/20141676
MS63 - https://www.pcgs.com/cert/46076809
MS65 - https://www.pcgs.com/cert/80293052 & https://www.pcgs.com/cert/39526190
MS66 - https://www.pcgs.com/cert/44252224 & https://www.pcgs.com/cert/44740612
MS67 - https://www.pcgs.com/cert/41450200 & https://www.pcgs.com/cert/47363320
MS68 - (no trueview photos) https://www.ebay.com/itm/154635163272

Here's the coin:

Thank you very much for your opinion!

Looks like an MS-64 to me.

Thank you IndianGoldEagle!

I agree the specimen presented looks better than the MS63 in PCGS TrueView.
I kind of struggle seeing differences between the MS65 and above

Lots of wide open spaces on this design so marks are easily seen.
