Need some help here. Can anyone help confirm this for me please? I'm fairly certain this is it. Not quite as strong but I see definite faint die scratches and on the reverse the doubling around the memorial looks identical.

001 is a very recognizable DDR with the spread. There is no spread on ONE on yours at all. Remember you have to have the doubling first. Markers mean nothing without the doubling. They are just to further confirmation.

Ok, I gotcha Cujohn. Question though. Will the spread always be the exact same distance/size or can it be more or less pronounced than recorded on any or all sites listing a specific error? I'm just not sure if it can be more or less extreme examples out there. I hope what I'm asking makes cents lol

The only time distance/size changes are if it is MD. A doubled die is doubled on the die itself.MD is caused by loose dies. And yes,a doubled die can be both MD and DD.

John1, I was uncertain if there could be a range of variation for doubled die. I appreciate you taking the time to explain that for me.

The only thing that might, might change the spread would be die stage. But it wouldn't be much of a change.
