I won't cheat on this one - that would be way too easy
Off the top of my head I'm going with PR65CAM

You can't tell CAM vs DCAM from these photos.

It was graded pr63 CAM by PCGS and I really don't understand why they gave it such a low grade. I think it looks like a 65 cam ....lowest 64. It's in an older blue holder. Did they grade that conservative then?

please give CCF at least 24hrs to chime in before posting grade
difficult to call CAM/DCAM on any proof by photos without some type of reference for depth of field.
i would have called this one PF66CAM possible DCAM
if you have this coin take a look at under the R in AMERICA to determine if what looks like a scuff is on the coin, holder or just a reflection. I don't see anything that warrant a 63 grade other than that

A very nice coin! I would like to see an image with it tilted so any hairlines would show.

In truth, the photos do not show surface details at all and are pretty useless for grading purposes.

I'm pretty good at what I do: 30+ years of looking at coins from both the collector and seller's points of view has given me a decent "eye" for grading. If I could make a living at it, I'd love to be a numismatic researcher, auction cataloguer, or something along those lines.
This forum has been tremendously helpful in learning how to more accurately grade coins. When I first came here in 2015 I struggled a lot. There are so many tremendously knowledgeable folks here that have helped me along the way and I've gained a lot of confidence in how I assess potential purchases; and membership in clubs like EAC has been helpful as well in learning how to evaluate and grade early coppers and colonials.
That being said, I'm very surprised with the grade, TBH. I had this pegged as at least a 65. Cameo for sure. Like I said, it's difficult to determine CAM vs DCAM from photos alone with no context to measure the depth of the mirrors (reflections.) Unless this photo has somehow been doctored, I see nothing that would merit a full 2 point distraction from Gem Proof!
This is a common proof (relatively speaking) but even so if I could buy this at 63 money I'd buy it and cross it to NGC or even CACG and see if I could get it into a 64-65 holder or 64 with a bean. Unless these photos have been heavily doctored, I'm just not seeing the problem here.

I would be appreciative to also know what the community uses to clean the plastic and then compare between these pictures to the pics after a good cleaning. I have jansjo lights as well but I took these pics using daylight. I would never doctor a photo and waste everyone's time. That would be messed up on so many levels especially since time can't be bought. With my 5x and 10x loup with the coin tilted I still don't understand why this coin resides in a 63 holder. Thanks so far for the help.
