I believe I have finally found a 1992 no mint mark Close AM Lincoln Penny!?!! But as usual I have a hard time trusting my own eyes and need others input as to what they believe I have here, if anything? I'm almost convinced that this is an actual 1992 CAM penny but what do y'all think? And please remember I am new to this site and also have not been hunting or collecting coins but just a short time so PLEASE BE NICE if I am wrong about this coin. I'm dealing opinions from all of you experts so that I can learn more about the correct way to spot variety coins or error coins so I can learn and improve with time! Thanks in advance for any information and insight you can provide on this coin &

You're images are not in a very good focus to tell what you have. Posting the same images multiple times really doesn't help either.
Can you post up a close up of AM and TAT of states?

Very poor images. Please start over with a couple of sharp closeups.

Sorry about that I was having trouble telling if they were uploading or not and didn't mean to post the same picture several times although there are two or three that are slightly different angles just doesn't look like it. And I will try to get a better close up picture if I can but my current means of taking pictures isn't the best. But I will try to get a more clear, and focused close up of those areas if I can. Thanks

This is about as good as the pictures are going to get right now with what I currently have to work with. But from what I'm seeing close up and under magnification I really truly feel this is really a 1992 CAM coin. Ans although I very well could be completely off on this I thinking about sending it to be authenticated and graded at PCGS. Worst thing that can happen is I'm totally wrong, best thing is could get lucky and actually have it!! Very worst case scenario..I'm out a little bit of money finding out which one it is but I've wasted money on worse things before lol & Thanks guys!

NurseNellie24,

We will gladly help you, but we will need images first. We are locking this topic to prevent posts with "We need images". You will get many more quality responses when there are quality images in the first post of a topic. Please start a new topic when you are able to upload pictures. If needed you can use the testing forum. Tutorials are below.

Note: When you start a new topic this one may be removed. So don't panic if you get an email that your topic was removed it's only this one.

PC: We highly recommend IrfanView. (Download) (Irfanview Tutorial)

Apple Computers: We have no idea. Never had an Apple product in our lives. We don't even eat apples. Can anyone help with this? Post here if you can.

Cell Phones (iPhone or Android): First, do not upload cell phone pictures of screens. They are terrible. Please check your camera settings are set to Medium quality. If it uses compression use 70%, it's perfectly fine for the internet. For file type please use WEBP if your phone has it, otherwise JPG. Avoid PNG and GIF, they are horrible choices. Be sure to crop the image to only show the coin. This is a great setup for cell phones.

Notice how the A between the T's is centered

Dearborn please - why keep stating that when circulation damage could move metal so that isn't absolutely obvious? Look at the FG for positive identification between WAM's and CAM's.

Thank you Cujohn! Even on worn or polished dies the serifs on the G can be worn away but not the positioning of the FG.
