Hi all,

I was wondering if you could help me ID these 2 coins. I think they're asian but I have no clue actually.

Diameter 8-9mm, weight 0.90 grams each

Thanks in advance!

So these are Indian 1 kasu coins.
They should be copper although it doesn't look like it from your photos.
Your ones look to be in a pretty good state maybe AU
In general these coins are not particularly valuable as even the rare ones were issued in large size.
The indian kingdoms were many and they tended to be all independently controlled and quite small so there were many different kasu coins issued. These ones are probably issued by the kingdom of mysore but that is more an educated guess given their prolific coin printing - this would also put them as 18th possibly 17th century coins.
I specialize in Chinese and Japanese 19th to 20th century coins so I am not an expert in this market by any means but I have see such examples personally so I doubt they are particularly rare but yours are in better state than any I saw. They COULD be fake but its unlikely given that I don't know of any of the 1 kasu coins that are super valuable although again I am not an expert on this stuff.
One would think that such old coins would be worth a lot but just like the very old 2000 year old roman copper and bronze coins, there were just so many made that they are not valuable unless the type was extremely rare. I have seen this type personally and you have 2 of them so I have to assume they are not rare.
Having said that the only seller of them on ebay (there is no way a regular auction site such as Heritage will sell them given they usually take only 100 buck + coins)
https://www.ebay.com/itm/144480006916
They seem to be charging a lot given what it is, but there you go.

Hope this helps.
