obv looks XF45 rev XF40. maybe an older cleaning toned over but should be ok. i'd call it XF40

Thanks all. So this is definitely O-106 with an ugly "3", and not the variety Ugly 3, right? Tougher for me to tell in lower grades.

I'd be at VF-35. I think the reverse holds this one back. If it was graded XF-40 I would not be shocked.

That's about the best possible eye-appeal; that factor alone should take the value of this piece above the catalogue price for its technical grade.

Not the ugly 3 RedBook variety, but the street name for this 106 is the "tampered 3."
