New Member From The Smokey Mountain Area

Live in the smokey mountain area and I decided to pick up the hobby after trying to find my niche on something to collect that I haven't before. I am starting with cents (just learned that a penny is not the correct way to put it lol). I was not sure where to really start so I scaled ebay for cents and realized that the world is much bigger than I could have imagined. I have started with buying about 100 rolls off ebay with a mix of Indian Head, wheat and Lincoln Memorial cents to get a baseline collection. I have since realized that I bought too much to start and still have A LOT to learn. I have finally separated them by dates (still have to do Mint Marks) and now about to start the process of taking a closer look individually. Thank you for this platform and I am excited to dive into learning and maybe finding a few diamonds in the rough. Report this Post to the Staff

Picked out the best to my ability to start to fill a book but still missing a bunch. Have added more to the collection since the last post but have not filled the empty pre 50's ones yet. Will be getting a bunch of tubes to start storing by year/MM. Have not looked for any errors in any of them yet but have come across a few that should be interesting. Report this Post to the Staff
