PCGS - The Lafayette Dollar is the only early commemorative silver dollar of its kind. Though struck in 1899, it bears a "1900" date to mark the Paris Exposition and the unveiling of the statue shown. In PCGS MS65+, only 29 examples are graded higher than this particular coin.
