In preparation for searching 2023-P nickels, I went to PCGS to familiarize myself with the high resolution pics. Specifically, the weird little inner corner notches on the LL of Monticello, which seem like they might be part of a design change? When viewing the third picture, I immediately noticed that it has a strong DDR feature below the right door lintel and possibly along the post as well.

That is fairly remarkable, because there are no classic door doubles listed in the Wexler catalog on BVC for 2023. That is despite over 100 listings.

I was going to send an email to Brian Ribar, but I hit a snag. Usually when there are images listed on the PCGS summary page, you can go to the image catalog page and follow a link to the certification number and TrueView. However, there are no images listed in 2023-P, and tapping the images on the front page takes you straight to the image download without giving the certification number. Does anyone know how to winnow a slab number out of the page? The coin of interest is nickel 3/3.

I tried searching Google for PCGS 2023-P nickel MS66FS, but that produced no useful links, either.

Well, I heard back already. Looks like it is indeed a typical line-in-door DDR, and there were none yet listed for 2023. A little surprising for a year with 129 listings so far.
